IPL 2026 refuses to give cricket fans a moment to breathe. Two last-ball thrillers in two nights. A 15-year-old smashing 78 off 26 balls. Rajasthan Royals becoming the first team to win four straight. And KKR still looking for their first win of the season.
April 11, 2026 — here is your complete IPL 2026 roundup, plus everything you need for tonight's double header.
๐คฏ Mukul Choudhary — The Newest IPL Hero. LSG Beat KKR on Last Ball
Eden Gardens, April 9. KKR needed a win desperately. Winless in their first three matches, the two-time defending champions posted a competitive 181 for 4 — Ajinkya Rahane 41 off 24, Angkrish Raghuvanshi 45, Rovman Powell a blistering 39* off 24. On the slow Eden Gardens pitch, 181 felt like enough.
LSG's chase fell apart spectacularly. Vaibhav Arora dismissed Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram off consecutive deliveries in the 5th over. Cameron Green, bowling for the first time this season, removed Rishabh Pant cheaply. Ayush Badoni — 54 off 34 balls — kept LSG alive, but when he fell in the 15th over, LSG were 104 for 5, needing 78 off 7 overs. Then 128 for 7. Match over — or so everyone thought.
Mukul Choudhary had other ideas. The 21-year-old walked in and started manufacturing sixes from nowhere. Seven sixes in 27 balls — including a helicopter shot over long-on that had Faf du Plessis on commentary screaming "MS Dhoni, eat your heart out!" Coming to the last over, LSG needed 13 off 6. Choudhary hit a six off the second ball. Dot. Dot. Now 7 off 2. A six off the penultimate ball — scores level. He missed the last delivery — but the batters scampered a bye, and LSG won by 3 wickets off the very last ball.
KKR's fourth match — fourth heartbreak. Their bowlers, so thin after the Harshit Rana and Akash Deep injuries, simply could not close out the game. Choudhary — 54* off 27 balls, Player of the Match — is a star.

⚡ Suryavanshi 78 off 26 — RR Crush RCB's Winning Streak
Guwahati, April 10. Royal Challengers Bengaluru had won both their IPL 2026 matches — including the Tim David 106m six demolition of CSK. They arrived at the ACA Stadium with momentum and a strong batting lineup. Rajat Patidar top-scored with a gritty 63 off 40 to rescue RCB from 125 for 7, and RCB eventually posted 201 for 8 — a daunting target.
What followed was one of the most dominant powerplay batting displays in IPL 2026. Vaibhav Suryavanshi — playing as an impact sub — came in and immediately attacked Josh Hazlewood, smashing 18 runs off his first over against the Australian spearhead, including a six off the very first ball. The Guwahati crowd went berserk as Suryavanshi brought up his fifty off just 15 balls — the fastest in IPL 2026 this season.
He finished with a breathtaking 78 off 26 balls — 7 sixes, 5 fours — before Krunal Pandya dismissed him trying to go over long-on. At that point RR were 129 for 1. Even after three quick wickets reduced them to 134 for 4, Dhruv Jurel — 81* off 43 balls — and Ravindra Jadeja calmly saw RR home. 202 chased in 18 overs, 6 wickets in hand.
RR are unbeaten in 4 matches — the only team in IPL 2026 with a perfect record. Virat Kohli, visibly impressed, was seen sharing a warm moment with Suryavanshi after the match — a gesture that went viral overnight. Suryavanshi has now overtaken Yashasvi Jaiswal to claim the Orange Cap.

๐ Aaj Ka Double Header — April 11
Match 1: PBKS vs SRH — New Chandigarh, 3:30 PM IST
Punjab Kings arrive in fine form — 2 wins from 2 completed matches, top of the table on NRR. Shreyas Iyer's side has been outstanding across all departments. SRH under Ishan Kishan are yet to win — 3 matches, 0 points, still waiting for Pat Cummins to return. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are overdue for a big partnership. New Chandigarh's Mullanpur pitch tends to favour the batters — another high-scoring affair expected.
Our pick: PBKS by 20 runs.
Match 2: CSK vs DC — Chepauk, 7:30 PM IST
The most desperate match of IPL 2026 so far — CSK have lost all 3 matches and are bottom of the table. MS Dhoni is still not fit — though Ruturaj Gaikwad confirmed he is "getting closer" — so this is CSK without their talisman in a must-win game at Chepauk. DC meanwhile are 2-1 after the heartbreaking 1-run loss to GT. Axar Patel's side will look to bounce back. Chepauk typically helps spinners — and DC have Kuldeep Yadav and Axar himself as their trump cards.
Our pick: CSK by 15 runs — Chepauk fortress effect.
